Inspired by clubhouses and treehouses, the design of King / Z2 Live's downtown office is meant to evoke childlike imagination, a sense of wonder, and creativity. The space utilizes features like plywood finishes, climbing ropes, and picnic-style benches to create a DIY feel, while incorporating the technology necessary for the firm's operations. Low adjustable lighting levels add drama throughout the space and create an appearance of shadows found in treehouses. For a unique client offering an equally unique service, our goal was to create a suitable workspace focused on flexibility, functionality, and fun.
