Downtown Seattle
The building of this engineering office project was distinctive for its 70-foot-clear spans of pre-stressed concrete beams, a condition more likely found on freeway overpasses than inside commercial office buildings. Our design highlighted this unique concrete structure and emphasized its industrial feel in order to give the client a space aligned with their professional art. Warm contemporary materials were used to accentuate the depth and richness of the structure's existing modern colors and textures. The open office environment - possessing a balance between the past and the present - provides an inspiring workspace for its employees to thrive in.
